Launch programme

Thirty lines, six platforms. That is what we enter with.

A catalogue that promises “everything for every Chinese brand” says nothing. This one says exactly which parts, for which platforms, from which years and against which reference — because you enter a new market with focus, not with breadth.

Coil spring and shock absorber in close-up

SilkVin does not open with a general catalogue. It opens with thirty lines chosen one by one out of our own research across 48 countries, crossing vehicle parc, service intervals, availability of the reference in public catalogues and what it costs today to move a cubic metre out of China.

The result is uncomfortable, and that is why it is useful: almost everything worth doing is wear consumables for four platforms, not spectacular parts. Collision items — headlamps, bumpers, mirrors — carry the best-documented pain in the market, but they are irregular demand and high volume per unit. They are in the programme, and they are labelled for what they are.

Every line in the catalogue carries its platform, its years, its engine, its replacement interval and its OE references. That level of detail is what a wholesale buyer needs to decide in two minutes whether it is useful.

The three tiers

Not every line is treated the same way, and saying so in writing is part of the deal. Every page carries its tier in plain sight.

    Launch line

    21 lines

Quoted first. This is where a large parc, rotation driven by service intervals and a traceable reference all meet.

    Opens with a buyer

    8 lines

Demand is documented, but the volume per unit or the irregularity of the order requires a confirmed buyer before anything is brought in.

    To firm order only

    1 line

Volumetric freight or a collision part with many variants. Quoted to hold a price; brought in only against a firm order.

01

The four filters every line passed

A part enters the programme only if it meets all four at once. The ones that meet three are still quoted, but not bought.

01

A large and growing parc

The model has to be among the best-selling in its markets, and to have been there long enough to be out of warranty. A brand-new parc is still served by the dealer.

02

Demonstrable rotation

The part is replaced on a service interval or through frequent failure, not because someone assumes so. Every line publishes its replacement interval.

03

A traceable reference

The original number has to exist in a verifiable public catalogue. Twenty-eight of the thirty have one; the two that do not say so on their own page.

04

Freight economics that hold

Weight and volume per unit have to leave a wholesale margin at today's freight, which is not last year's. Volumetric items enter only consolidated and against a firm order.

02

The six platforms

These are not six brands: they are six technical sets that share parts across models and sometimes across badges. That is where a wholesaler who knows what it is buying gains — one reference covers four cars.

Chery · Omoda · Jaecoo · Exeed

T1X · T19C · T1E

The group with the largest parc in the catalogue. The T1X, T19C and T1E platforms share friction, filters and suspension across models sold under four different badges.

17 lines

Jetour

T2 · X70

The best-selling Chinese SUV in several Gulf countries, and the one with the worst access to genuine parts since the official channel closed to independents.

4 lines

GWM Haval · Poer

Jolion · H6 · Poer

The Jolion and H6 share an engine, so they share consumables. The Poer adds the working parc, which wears with load and does not wait.

11 lines

MG (SAIC)

ZS11 · MG5

A top-five brand in the UAE and one of the most mature Chinese parcs in Chile and Egypt. Careful: neighbouring models do not share parts.

3 lines

BYD

e-Platform 3.0

A young electric parc still under warranty. Quoted now to hold a reference price for when it starts to rotate, not to buy today.

3 lines

Geely · Changan

SX11 · S111 · Alsvin

The two brands that complete the map: Geely, top six in the Gulf, and Changan, the fourth brand in Peru, with a friction material that also crosses to Chery.

What this programme is not

  • It is not a stock list. SilkVin does not claim a warehouse it has not built yet: today all thirty lines are made or prepared to order, and every page says so.
  • It is not a price list. There are no prices, minimums, lead times or terms published on this site, and there will not be until they are confirmed in writing with a supplier and a buyer.
  • It is not a closed catalogue. We supply outside these thirty lines; we simply do not pretend that the whole Chinese catalogue carries the same priority.
  • It is not a fitment statement. OE numbers are published as a cross-reference read from public catalogues, and confirmed against the VIN before quoting.

Start with the line that hurts.

Add the lines you care about to a single request and tell us your market. If what you need is not among the thirty, send it anyway: it is quoted like any other line.
