Trade terms

Terms, warranty, quotation and privacy.

Short, in plain language, and written before there was a dispute to write it about. If any of it conflicts with a signed order confirmation, the order confirmation wins.

Quotation policy

Nothing on this website is a binding offer. Prices, availability, quantities and lead times are quoted per request and become firm only on a written quote carrying a case reference.

Every quote states the Incoterm, the currency, the validity period and the freight basis. Freight is quoted at the rate of the week the quote is issued; outside the validity period it is re-quoted rather than honoured on an expired rate.

Fitment is confirmed before an order is placed. Where the identification is not certain, we ask for a photograph, a stamping or a measurement instead of guessing, and the line stays unquoted until it is resolved.

This is a wholesale channel for business buyers; consumer orders are not accepted. Order quantities and commercial conditions are agreed per quote, according to the references and volumes requested.

Commercial terms

Orders are confirmed against a written quote and a purchase confirmation. Payment terms, currency and the payment route are stated there.

Titles, risk and delivery obligations follow the Incoterm named on the quote. Where you have asked us to advise, the recommended Incoterm is explained on the quote itself.

Classification on the commercial invoice is stated per destination. Duty, tax and import treatment depend on your status and your jurisdiction, and should be confirmed with your own customs broker or tax adviser. Nothing here is tax or legal advice.

Certain goods are outside our scope entirely: airbags and pyrotechnic components, lithium cells and battery packs, battery management systems, control units requiring coding, complete engines and gearboxes, glass and catalytic converters.

Customers and destinations are screened for sanctions exposure before an order is accepted.

Warranty

Warranty terms are stated in writing on each quote, per reference, before payment. Terms differ between aftermarket, OES and genuine OEM supply, and quoting a single blanket period across all of them would be misleading.

Claims are handled against the case reference of the original order, with photographs of the part as fitted and of the failure. Keeping the case reference is what makes a claim fast.

Wear items consumed in normal service, parts damaged by incorrect fitting, and parts fitted to a vehicle other than the one whose VIN was quoted fall outside warranty.

Where a wrong reference was supplied against a confirmed reference or VIN, that is our error and it is corrected at our cost.

Privacy and data

What is collected: what you type into a request — company, contact details, vehicle data including the VIN, the parts and quantities you need, delivery details and any photographs you attach.

Why: to identify the correct part, prepare a commercial quote and fulfil an order. Nothing more.

The VIN: it is never placed in a URL or query string, never sent to analytics or advertising tools, and never published. On confirmation screens it is shown partially masked. It is used to decode the vehicle and confirm fitment.

Photographs: stored privately, outside any publicly reachable folder, under a randomly generated filename. They are not indexed, not shared with third parties beyond the supplier quoting the reference, and not used for anything except identifying your part.

Retention: request files and attached photographs are kept for 12 months and then deleted, unless they belong to an active order, a warranty claim or a legal obligation to retain them.

Analytics: this site measures anonymous interaction events only — which pages are viewed, which categories are opened, whether a request was started or sent. VINs, names, emails, phone numbers, photographs and free text are never sent to any analytics or advertising tool.
